1. No Data Collection

ReceiptSnap is designed to operate entirely offline. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data or receipt information to our servers or third-party services. All data remains on your device.

2. Device-Only Storage

All receipts, images, and related information are securely stored locally on your device. ReceiptSnap does not send your data to any external servers or services unless explicitly directed by you (e.g., exporting data to your personal Dropbox or sharing a PDF).

3. Cloud Backup

If you choose to use the optional cloud backup feature, it will store your data on your own third-party cloud storage (e.g., Dropbox). ReceiptSnap does not access, store, or manage your cloud data. You are responsible for managing your cloud storage and its privacy settings.

4. Permissions

ReceiptSnap may request access to your device’s camera, photo library, and file system to allow functionality such as:

• Scanning receipts using the camera.

• Importing receipts from your photo library or files.

All permissions are used solely for the intended purpose and are never used to collect or transmit your data.

5. Your Responsibility

Since all data remains on your device, it is your responsibility to ensure your device is secure. This includes:

• Using device-level encryption or security features (e.g., passcodes or biometric locks).

• Backing up your data using the app’s cloud backup feature or other methods.

6. No Third-Party Sharing

ReceiptSnap does not share your data with any third parties. Any data export, such as creating PDFs or uploading to cloud storage, is entirely controlled by you.
